THE BURNOUT SYNDROME DURING THE ACADEMIC PROCESS: A LITERATURE REVIEW

This article sought to demonstrate how the Burnout syndrome is very recurrent in students during or after the academic process, due to the fact that there are several difficulties or problems faced during these formative years. The objective of this work is to understand the protective factors for the Burnout Syndrome in students during the higher education process, so the specific objectives seek to identify the vulnerability and risk factors for the development of the Burnout Syndrome and to anal t yze the coping strategies and interventions for Burnout Syndrome in students during the higher education process. The method consisted of a bibliographic review using the PEPSIC database, we found 7 articles, in SCIELO 4 articles were used, in the Virtual Health Library - VHL 5 articles were found. We conclude that the prevalence of Burnout syndrome in academics constitutes a field of research that needs to be deepened, and thus establish a parameter of triggering factors and coping strategies.
