This study in the Amazon region investigated the impact of augmented and virtual reality technologies in high school education. Students utilized virtual reality headsets and augmented reality applications to explore animal and plant cells in biology classes. The results demonstrated increased student interest, motivation, and comprehension, fostering a more inclusive and engaging education. The technologies proved effective in enhancing teaching methodologies and stimulating student interest in the subject matter. These tools were recognized as valuable alternatives for improving teaching and learning, encouraging educators to integrate them as enriching pedagogical resources.
