The paper addresses the urgent need to reform traditional educational strategies, adopting complex thinking and interdisciplinarity as fundamental pillars. Inspired by the ideas of Severino Antônio and Edgar Morin, the text criticizes the fragmented and linear teaching that has been prevalent and calls for a more holistic and contextual approach. Morin offers the idea of "complex thinking," where knowledge is not isolated into watertight compartments, but interconnected. In this way, learning becomes more meaningful as it reflects the complexity of real life. Additionally, Severino Antônio emphasizes that education must transcend conventional dichotomies, such as "right and wrong," allowing the diversity of students' experiences to enrich the educational process. D'Ambrosio is invoked to emphasize that education should be a "strategy for action" that goes beyond mere information transmission, involving stages of sensitization, support, and socialization. The text concludes by emphasizing that an interdisciplinary or even transdisciplinary approach is necessary for a richer and more integrated understanding of the world.
