Abstract

The theme in question addresses the relevance of the role of the family of people with disabilities, whose function is to promote debate in order to refer people to the condition of support in the course of the educational process, in a cooperation uniting family and school, seeking the consolidation of potentialities, specifically in the school environment in the teaching and learning process, guaranteeing the integral performance of the people included. The main objective of this article is to seek the association between family and school, instigating the development of students with special educational needs, such as rescuing self-esteem and autonomy.
