Brazilian education has been marked by liberal tendencies for at least the last fifty-five years. Society as a whole, especially educators, wants an active and educated discipline, characterized by respect, responsibility, appreciation of knowledge, communication, participation, development of character and citizenship. And it starts at home, where parents, who must transmit knowledge to their children, are the first models for their children.
