THE USE OF SMART TV IN SCIENCE CLASSES AT SCHOOLS IN PRISONS

The article aims to discuss the possibility of using Smart TV in science classrooms in prisons as a technological tool to facilitate learning. Therefore, the methodology used was the theoretical essay, which consisted of an analysis and critical synthesis of studies on the prison environment, the teaching-learning process in this context and the role of educational technologies in prisons. From this, Smart TV is proposed as a pedagogical tool to enhance science teaching in prisons, offering students a more dynamic and interactive learning experience. The challenges and benefits of this approach are also presented, as well as the possibilities of integration with other technologies and pedagogical practices. Finally, it is concluded that the use of Smart TVs can be a viable and efficient alternative for teaching science in prisons, contributing to the educational and social formation of inmates.
