THE MOODLE PLATFORM AS A DIDACTIC TOOL IN THE PROMOTION OF E-LEARNING

This article presents a qualitative research that aims to expose a clear definition about the use of the Moodle platform as a didactic tool in the promotion of e-learning, in addition to bringing the Virtual Learning Environment of the State University of Amazonas as an example (AVA/UEA). Thus, the main motivation of the study is to contextualize the information regarding what Moodle is, exemplify the use of a Virtual Learning Environment and reflect on the e-learning teaching model. Therefore, the present study presents the AVA/UEA and how it is used by the higher education institution as a didactic tool for hybrid education and also to show the different synchronous and asynchronous communication tools that can collaborate with the pedagogical strategies of making available content and assessment of student learning.
