This is an academic production, produced through a bibliographical research, which aimed to promote an approach on the use of digital technologies in pedagogical practice. Today, there is no way to think of man - as a social being - distant from technologies. These are part of their daily life, in many cases, facilitating their life in society, allowing not only quick access to information, but also allowing interaction with a large number of people, without worrying about geographic boundaries. Faced with this reality, it is clear that the school could not fail to introduce digital technologies in its context. The use of these technologies in the classroom transforms the entire teaching-learning process, allowing the development of a more innovative and productive pedagogical practice, capable of expanding the student's horizon, facilitating the development of their skills, giving them conditions to be the subject constructor of his own learning. With digital technologies there is the possibility of greater access and sharing of information, aiming at the production of knowledge. Through this research it was found that the insertion of digital technologies in the school context is not a simple task. It is something that requires rethinking on the part of the school and requires the teacher to redefine his profile, in addition to adapting his teaching practice to the new demands promoted by his students.
