This work discusses music as a pedagogical tool in early childhood education and had as its problem understanding the favorable aspects that music teaching can provide to children in kindergarten, perceiving the ways in which music interacts with the other axes of work, that is, how music can help in various pedagogical activities in early childhood education. The objective of this article was to analyze the contributions that music teaching can provide in the development of children in early childhood education and the way in which it is used by educators who work in this age group, as well as to verify the importance of music learning in socialization and learning, to know the dynamics of music teaching in schools, to understand the ways in which music interacts with the other axes of work in this phase of schooling and to analyze the contributions that music teaching can provide in the development of children in kindergarten.
