Abstract

This study presents data about the use of the Instagram as a tool of communication and learning of the extension project “UFPB in combating COVID-19: the contribution of Floral Therapy”, realizing the bridge between the academic community and the general population. Through the use of this social network, it was possible to publish about the thematic of the Floral Therapy, as well as to divulgate the free attendance which the project was offering and maintain contact with the public. Due to the pandemic of the Covid-19, the attendance and the return started being online, increasing the number of attendances to people outside Paraíba and even Brazil. Thus, the project provided the participants to realize attendances and indicate the Floral Therapy. It also disseminated the knowledge through the social network, which was essential and useful to transpose barriers and to reach the population.
