AUTISM: INCLUSION OF THE AUTIST CHILD IN THE CLASSROOM

This article intends to discuss the deficiencies in the school teaching/learning process of the autistic student and suggest some guidelines so that the regent or assistant teacher can work with this special child. Assuming that the teacher knows little or nothing about Autism or Autistic Spectrum Disorder and the impact that this anomaly causes on the teaching-learning process in its various characteristics.
