Educational psychology is a field of study that seeks to understand and improve teaching and learning processes. It is concerned with applying the principles and theories of psychology in the educational context, aiming to promote the cognitive, emotional and social development of students. The guidelines are about recognizing and taking into account individual student differences, including learning styles, abilities, interests and needs. This implies adapting teaching and offering personalized support to promote the development of each student. Prioritize building meaningful knowledge by connecting new information with students' prior knowledge. This involves creating relevant contexts, stimulating reflection and the practical application of learned concepts. Look for motivation and engagement by understanding the factors that influence student motivation and promoting a learning environment that encourages active engagement. This includes offering appropriate challenges, providing constructive advice, and recognizing student progress and achievements.
