PUBLIC POLICIES IN INCLUSIVE SPECIAL EDUCATION: BRIEF CONSIDERATIONS

This research evaluates the historicity of public policies in the field of Special Inclusive Education up to the present day, in order to obtain some relevant data on these inclusion policies. The objectives of this study are to analyze the trajectory of Public Policies, to know the purposes of these special and inclusive education policies and to verify the practices of inclusive education in the current educational scenario. The research methodology was based on bibliographical studies with a qualitative focus, in which it had a reading focused on Public Policy issues in Inclusive Special Education. The information obtained through reading books and articles shows that inclusive education was part of a process that occurred in stages, such as the period of exclusion, segregation, integration and inclusion, in this way, from segregation, it began to emerge at times. policies for citizens who had a disability, in which they had purposes, not so favorable for inclusion to happen, over time, other laws emerged, with the aim of promoting equity for all people, already in the days current inclusive projects today are promising for inclusion to actually happen, but still need some adjustments. Finally, in order to have an inclusive society, which provides opportunities according to unique needs, more investment in education is needed, it is known that it is through education that a fairer nation is built.
