Abstract

The objective of this work is to present the elements that show the growing and constant evolution of technology in current times, but also the use among very young children. In view of this early contact and excessive use of electronics, this phenomenon has been responsible for causing significant damage to the physical, psychological and cognitive development of these children. Since, the main mediators of technologies with the little ones, that is, who provides this contact are the parents. The general objective of the research is to analyze the implications of the use of technologies by children from 2 to 6 years old, using the bibliographic survey as a method. From the collected data, it becomes clear that the excessive use of technologies by very young children causes damage to a healthy development, which can be compromising for life. Parents have a fundamental role in mediating this contact and providing moments that cannot be replaced by technology, which stimulate important aspects necessary for child development.
