Abstract

Many of the math questions are capable of going further, covering certain aspects that initially do not correlate very well with each other. he purpose of this article is to present a question from OMIF, the Mathematics Olympiad of the Federal Institutes, and how its resolution is a good opportunity to introduce the student to special topics in mathematics teaching, and in this case, to initiate studies on Kaplansky's lemma.
