MANAGEMENT OF THE MUNICIPAL EDUCATION CENTER MARIA ANGÉLICA GONÇALVES IN THE CITY OF ALTO HORIZONTE: REVIEW ARTICLE

Abstract

This article is the result of the reflection and analysis of the management of the Municipal Centers for Early Childhood Education, in particular the Maria Angélica Gonçalves CMEI, located in the city of Alto Horizonte, Goiás, the object of study of the doctoral thesis, whose objectives were to investigate and Analyze the actions developed by the manager of that CMEI, as well as evaluate the methods and results of the management and understand if the management model developed is a model that in fact collaborate for the effectiveness of the teaching proposed by the Brazilian legislation in the teaching process of the CMEI . For this purpose, the following problems were developed: Does the management developed at the Maria Angélica Gonçalves Municipal Education Center, located in the city of Alto Horizonte-GO, fulfill the objectives proposed in its pedagogical political project? As a teaching methodology, a questionnaire with ten closed questions was applied to the study object, teachers, servers and parents of CMEI students, which were analyzed and the result confronted with the theoretical reference used for this investigation. From the result of the questionnaire analyzed in the construction of the doctoral thesis, the main discussions of the research were transcribed here. This article is justified by the fact that it is necessary to reflect on the role of the manager and the legal bases that actually indicate if it fulfills all the objectives set forth in the pedagogical political project and by the Brazilian legislation concerning the functioning of the Municipal Centers of Early Childhood Education.
