Abstract

Currently in our society, we live in the age of speed, where news shared on social media has a long reach, and becomes known very quickly by users of these media. Given this context, this article will explore how social media become an instrument for the practice of parental alienation, given that the Parental Alienation Law did not predict that alienation could also occur in a virtual way, this way, where the parents would share in their social networks, allegations about the upbringing of the minor child, asking society to judge the conflict. This virtual family interaction can cause very serious family damage, since society becomes part of these conflicts, which previously happened in a private way, makes it feel instigated to try to solve these problems, without having technical or professional skills. , which may cause even more damage to family relationships. Based on this problem, this present work will analyze the repercussion that parental alienation has, when it occurs in social media.
