Sporotrichosis is a cutaneous pathology present in the feline routine due to its arboriferous behavior. Being a widespread disease in the clinic, some of these animals may be susceptible to this type of infection, especially after gastric surgeries. This surgical procedure alters the absorption capacity of drugs and their bioavailability in the body. Compromising in this way, the therapeutic treatment of cats that acquire sporotrichosis during their recovery after a gastric intervention. The present work was elaborated with the intention of carrying out a literature review presenting the therapeutic possibilities for treating sporotrichosis in felines after gastric surgeries, as well as alternative or complementary treatments.
