CRITICAL REFLECTIONS ON PARENTAL ALIENATION LAW No. 12.318/10

Abstract

The research is carried out with the aim of analyzing and highlighting the political issues involved in the discussion on the subject. Specifically, the impacts of the law and public policies on the lives of women, children and adolescents involved in cases of Parental Alienation will be observed, as well as characterizing domestic violence in the influence of the AP of their spouses on their children. Methodologically, the study is qualitative and quantitative, as statistical data are part of the document analysis on the subject, having as its main basis Law No. 12.318/2010, listing its concept, characteristics and purposes, with the following authors: BRANDÃO (2019) ), SILVA (2019), among others. The research is divided into sections to facilitate reading: parental alienation from a feminist perspective; the gender power dynamics involved in the practice of parental alienation; the emotional and psychological impact of alienation and the professionals' performance perspectives.
