This article which has as its theme The Application of Law nº 10.639 in Pedagogical Practice at the State School, aims to reflect on the curricular guidelines and methodologies applied for the education of ethnic relations -racial and for the teaching of African and Afro-Brazilian history and culture, and analysis of actions to promote racial equality in the area of educational policies for social inclusion. In the course of registering the ideas under discussion, the objective is to identify and analyze how the Law is being worked in the classroom, after 20 (twenty) years of its approval and implementation, based on the National Plan for Education and Ethnic-Ethnic Relations. Racials at School. The School in society is the second institution responsible for the sociability relationships of children and young people, after, of course, the family. In it, learning about social rules and values is experienced from the perspective of the group. The referred work had as theoretical reference Laws as Law nº 10.639/03 and Law nº 11.645/08 besides some authors that approach the theme. We understand that it is of paramount importance to carry out this work, as social relations and the interaction of the different harmonize and value human beings in their fullness.
