The present research has as focus of analysis to highlight the influence of the kindergarten teacher in the socio/affective process of the student, intrinsically guiding the question related to the attitudes of the teacher. As an objective, it seeks to prove that the socio/affective development of the child depends on the relationship between the educator and the student, especially in the classroom. The methodology presented to subsidize the analysis of the research deals with bibliography, found in books and scientific articles. With regard to the educator-student relationship, the affectivity element has been a constantly discussed topic, since this research intends to make a significant contribution to the expansion of studies related to affectivity, as well as recognizing that the school, in its pedagogical role, privileges in addition to from the cognitive aspects to the affective ones, adequately guiding educators who are unaware or disregard the importance of these relationships and their real influences on the social/affective development of the student in the school context.
