This scientific article aims to investigate the use of music and dance as pedagogical resources in early childhood education. To achieve this objective, a bibliographical review was carried out that included studies on the importance of music and dance in early childhood education, as well as on the benefits that these activities can bring to the cognitive, motor and socio-emotional development of children. In addition, some examples of pedagogical practices involving music and dance in early childhood education were analyzed in order to identify their strengths and limitations. The results of the bibliographic survey indicated that music and dance are valuable pedagogical resources for early childhood education, as they stimulate creativity, motor coordination, expressiveness and socialization in children. However, it is important that these activities are properly planned and conducted, taking into account the individual characteristics and needs of each child. In conclusion, the use of music and dance in early childhood education can contribute significantly to the integral development of children, favoring the formation of more creative, sociable individuals who are aware of themselves and the world around them.
