Abstract

The objective of this work is to approach in general the methods of hydraulic sizing of the dissipation basin, whose purpose of this device is to promote the reduction of flow velocity, overflow systems in general and urban drainage drainage systems, a solution with this barrier. This type of structure allows the project to transform a type of supercritical formation into a subcritical one, through a hydraulic jump (CETESB, 1986).
