This study analyzes scientific production on the management of Vocational and Technological Education (VTE), seeking to identify the main approaches, trends, and discussions developed in the literature between 2020 and 2026. This is a qualitative-quantitative, exploratory-descriptive study conducted through documentary research, bibliometric analysis, and a narrative literature review. The survey was conducted using the Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases, with the descriptors “management of vocational and technological education,” “school management” AND “vocational and technological education,” and “educational management” AND “vocational and technological education.” After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 21 articles were selected for analysis. The data were examined through content analysis, enabling the organization of the studies into thematic categories. The results reveal discussions related to school and democratic management, pedagogical management, public policies, institutional organization, management training, and the challenges faced by VTE institutions. It is concluded that VTE management constitutes a multidimensional field shaped by political, social, and institutional aspects, highlighting the relevance of democratic, participatory, and socially responsive management practices.
