This study aimed to analyze the impacts of telework on the working and social conditions of employees at the Court of Justice of Pernambuco (TJPE). To this end, a mixed-methods study was conducted, with a predominantly quantitative approach, combining a structured questionnaire administered to 156 employees working entirely under a telework arrangement with a documentary analysis of regulations and legal acts concerning this work modality within the Judiciary. The results showed that 89.8% of the participants perceived telework as contributing to increased productivity, while 64.1% reported satisfaction with their home working environment and 53.8% identified a balance between professional and personal life. Conversely, 69.9% considered the number of employees insufficient, 46.2% assessed the available resources and equipment as inadequate, and 59.6% reported work-related health problems. Furthermore, 42.6% stated that they performed work activities during their disconnection period, and 62.2% did not perceive opportunities for career advancement. It is concluded that telework offers benefits, but its effectiveness depends on achieving a balance between productivity, adequate working conditions, health, professional recognition, and the protection of employees' rights.
