As TDICs have promoted significant transformations in the educational context, influencing not only pedagogical practices, but also school management processes. In this context, democratic management finds digital technologies important tools for expanding communication, collective participation and institutional transparency. The general objective of this study was to analyze the role of TDICs in the practices of democratic school management, identifying their contributions to the expansion of participation, communication and transparency in the management processes of educational institutions. Bibliographic research, with a qualitative and explanatory approach. The search was carried out in the Google Scholar databases, CAPES Newspaper Portal and Scopus, including articles published between 2020 and 2026, in Portuguese and English. The selected studies were analyzed by means of critical reading and systematization of data. The results show that democratic school management is based on collective participation, not dialogue and co-responsibility between the different actors of the school community. I note that TDICs have contributed to the strengthening of this management model to expand institutional communication, favor community participation and promote greater transparency in school processes. Furthermore, technologies demonstrate the potential to optimize administrative routines and support pedagogical accompaniment. However, challenges related to infrastructure, including digital and professional training, also limit their effectiveness. It is concluded that TDICs constitute important instruments to support democratic school management, since they are used in a planned, strategic and aligned manner with the educational objectives of the institution.
