This article addresses the modernization process of land management in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, between 2019 and 2025, with a particular focus on the implementation of the state system and land registry products within the scope of the Mato Grosso Land Institute (Intermat), made available on a public-access digital platform. The research aims to analyze the land management system and evaluate the delivery of services offered by INTERMAT, alongside technological advancements and information transparency relevant to land governance in the state. The so-called Land Management System has enabled citizen service, the integration of land data, and the utilization of geotechnologies, while contributing to the improvement of public management and land governance. Products such as property titles, certificates, registrations of judicial titles, letters of consent, georeferenced registries, thematic maps, and public information indicate the performance of public administration and the lingering challenges to consolidating an effective, integrated, and accessible system. Despite innovation in public land policy, the land management system must still be improved to promote territorial planning, citizen service delivery, and development (preferably sustainable).
