This article aimed to analyze the health education strategies developed by Community Health Workers within the community, highlighting their contribution to health promotion, disease prevention, and strengthening the relationship between the population and Primary Health Care services. This is a bibliographic review with a qualitative and descriptive approach, based on the analysis of scientific publications and documents related to health education, Primary Health Care, the Family Health Strategy, and the work of Community Health Workers. The results showed that the main strategies include home visits, individual and group guidance, active search, family follow-up, vaccination campaigns, preventive actions, and community mobilization activities. It was also observed that the Community Health Worker's proximity to the territory facilitates the identification of health needs, the establishment of trust, and communication between users and the multidisciplinary health team. It is concluded that Community Health Workers play a strategic role in educational practices and health promotion, making it necessary to strengthen their training, continuing education, and working conditions to improve the effectiveness of actions developed within the community.
