Abstract

The study investigated the importance of digital media for the development of inclusive educational practices, considering their contribution to access and participation of students with disabilities. The research problem questioned how digital media could support inclusion in learning environments. The general objective was to analyze the role of these resources in promoting accessible pedagogical practices. A bibliographic research methodology was adopted, enabling the articulation of theoretical contributions on digital technologies, accessibility, and inclusion. The development section discussed the educational transformations intensified by the pandemic, the increased use of digital media, their potential to diversify pedagogical strategies, and the need for teacher training for their proper use. The findings indicated that accessible digital environments, combined with intentional practices, help remove barriers, expand student participation, and allow greater personalization of learning. The final considerations emphasized that digital media are relevant tools for educational inclusion, although their effectiveness depends on planning, accessibility, and professional training. The study also highlighted the need for empirical research to deepen understanding of the practical application of these technologies in real educational contexts.
