This article proposes a reflection on the role of educators in organizational settings, highlighting their contributions to employee development within companies. Traditionally associated with the school environment, educators have been gaining ground in various social contexts, especially in business organizations, where human capital is increasingly valued as a strategic factor. With this expanded scope, educators are now working to create training initiatives focused on professional growth, strengthening competencies, and the comprehensive development of employees. Educating employees involves more than just technical training; it requires sensitivity to address emotional, communicational, and relational aspects. In this sense, a pedagogical approach, centered on listening, dialogue, mediation, and knowledge construction, becomes a key differentiator. Educators contribute methodologies that foster meaningful learning, teamwork, motivation, and alignment between individual values and organizational objectives. Furthermore, this study discusses the competencies required of educators to work in this context, such as the ability to adapt content, identify training needs, promote effective educational initiatives, and participate in building a healthy organizational climate. It also presents the main challenges faced by these professionals, such as the lack of recognition in some companies, and the opportunities that emerge from the appreciation of corporate education and humanized management. Ultimately, it concludes that the presence of educators in the corporate environment represents a step forward in how organizations view human development, reinforcing the importance of pedagogy as a science committed to human development in all its dimensions.
