This article analyzes the evolution of robotic exoskeletons in Brazil over the last decade, highlighting their significant role in motor rehabilitation and the augmentation of physical capabilities. The research emphasizes the importance of integrating biosensors—such as EMG and EEG electrodes—which establish natural human-machine interfaces by converting biological signals into real-time control commands. A key milestone discussed is the "Walk Again" Project (*Projeto Andar de Novo*), led by Miguel Nicolelis; in 2014, this project demonstrated the clinical viability of brain-controlled exoskeletons, resulting in neurological improvements reported in preliminary studies. In addition to reviewing fundamental concepts and methodologies adopted by domestic universities and startups, the paper discusses applications in clinical, industrial, and military contexts, examining the technological, economic, and regulatory challenges facing the sector. Finally, the study outlines future prospects for wearable robotics in the country, suggesting Brazil's potential as an innovation hub for assistive technologies and for the integration of neuroscience and engineering.
