Abstract

The integration of technologies in the classroom has transformed teaching by introducing digital tools such as online platforms and educational apps, which make learning more interactive and personalized. These technologies allow for the adaptation of teaching to individual students' needs, promoting more efficient collaboration and access to a wide range of educational resources. However, the use of these tools in the 21st century faces significant challenges, including inequality in access to equipment and the internet, the need for ongoing educator training, and issues of data security and privacy. This article examines how technologies are being applied in modern classrooms, addresses the challenges and limitations faced, and seeks to balance innovation with effective educational practices. Thus, the overall aim of the research is to evaluate how the use of technologies in the classroom in the 21st century can transform teaching and learning, and identify key challenges such as infrastructure, teacher training, and data security, to promote a more interactive, personalized, and inclusive education. Researching the use of technologies in the classroom in the 21st century is of utmost relevance as it provides valuable insights into how digital tools can transform teaching and learning. The research was bibliographical, based on the analysis of existing academic literature on the use of technologies in the classroom. The research highlights that, despite the significant benefits of educational technologies, challenges such as inequality and security still need to be addressed.
