Child sexual exploitation is a serious violation of children's rights that uses power and authority to coerce minors into engaging in illegal sexual activities. This phenomenon has deep and lasting consequences, affecting the physical, emotional, and mental development of victims. The increasing incidence of these cases in Brazil highlights the need for a broader and more integrated approach to prevention and intervention. Child sexual abuse is often rooted in social, economic, and cultural factors that perpetuate these crimes, frequently obscured by the silence and complicity of communities. The aim of this study is to explore the role of Brazilian society in addressing and preventing the sexual exploitation of minors, analyzing how different sectors can join forces to protect the most vulnerable children. Furthermore, the study aims to provide support for the development of more effective public policies that strengthen protection networks and address systemic issues contributing to this exploitation. The importance of this work lies in the urgent need to create a safer environment that ensures children can thrive in a more just and equitable society.
