Abstract

Medicines are part of people´s daily lives since childhood, used to treat diseases and adverse symptoms, it is not uncommon to find people with many doubts, centered on their quality and effectiveness. Thus, the article aims to analyze the dissolution test ande show its great importance in quality control. The test was originally developed for solid Pharmaceutical forms, in recente Years dissolution tests have also been Applied to non-solid Pharmaceutical forms, currently the test is used in various Pharmaceutical forms such as: suppositories, suspensions, transdermal patches, pills, capsules, ointments, gels and others. The Pharmacopoeias are the main sources of information, in the Brazilian Pharmacopoeia three methods are reported. Through the test is able to Analyse, formulation optimization, behavior of the pharmacotechnical unit, deviations in production.
