Abstract

This work presents a comprehensive literature review on sustainable sewage collection networks. The aim is to explore the key technologies, approaches and benefits associated with these networks, as well as highlight the challenges and important considerations for the successful implementation of sustainable sewerage systems. The review is based on a critical analysis of scientific articles, books and relevant technical reports in the field of basic sanitation and environmental sustainability. The work aims to provide recommendations and guidelines to guide professionals and researchers involved in the planning and execution of sustainable sewage collection network projects.
