Abstract

The National Financial System, responsible for intermediating the transaction of financial market resources, has been used, by its own agents, as a means to obtain personal advantages through illicit practices. Crimes against the National Financial System are typified in Law No. 7,492, of June 16, 1986, known as the White Collar Law. These crimes stand out for the complexity of the strategies used to commit them, a factor that hinders their investigation and, consequently, their criminalization. This article aims to present the impacts caused to the Public Administration as a result of crimes against the National Financial System, highlighting how the concealment of crime generates a sense of impunity in society. With this intent, the study was carried out by the descriptive and qualitative research method, based on a bibliographic review by doctrines, jurisprudence of the Superior Court of Justice, legislation, monographs and scientific articles focused on the subject.
