This article is a case study based on the observation of the consequences left by the pandemic in the educational sphere. Through interviews carried out with professionals from the public education system in Santa Cruz do Capibaribe, the situation found by the entire school community in the post pandemic period was assessed and, given the above, it was pointed out what measures to be taken to portray the damages found. . Data analysis was based on the analysis of the collected content. The results show that the school manager already sees the challenges of the new demands, aiming to join forces using a joint task force in support of the objectives and emphasizing that the effective participation of the family in the school environment is essential to achieve the desired goal.
