Introduction: Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) and Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WRMSD) are conditions that affect the musculoskeletal system, associated with repetitive movements, inadequate working conditions, and extended work shifts. Objectives: To describe the epidemiological profile of RSI/WRMSD in the state of Paraná, considering gender, race, work shifts, breaks, and leaves of absence. Methodology: A descriptive, retrospective, and quantitative study analyzing SINAN data made available by DATASUS from 2014 to 2023. Results: A total of 5,694 cases were recorded in Paraná, with a predominance of notifications among women (62.5%) and self-declared white individuals (57.4%). Most cases occurred among workers with work shifts longer than six hours per day (86.8%), and approximately 37.5% of cases resulted in leaves of absence. Conclusion: The data show a growing incidence of RSI/WRMSD cases in Paraná, with significant differences in gender, race, stressful environments, breaks, work shifts longer than six hours per day, and leaves of absence, highlighting the importance of preventive interventions and ergonomic adjustments in the workplace.
