Anxiety is a psychological phenomenon that has become increasingly present in the lives of education professionals, affecting not only their mental health but also their ability to perform in pedagogical activities. This article aims to investigate the impacts of anxiety on educators' performance, considering factors such as the work environment, emotional burden, and academic demands. The research was conducted through a literature review, analyzing previous studies that address the relationship between anxiety and professional performance. The results indicate that anxiety can impair the quality of teaching, interaction with students, and professional satisfaction, contributing to a vicious cycle of stress and low self-esteem. Understanding these impacts is essential for developing support and intervention strategies aimed at promoting a healthier and more productive educational environment.
