The inclusion of students with atypical development in regular education is a central aspect of educational policies internationally and in Brazil, specifically, there has been a constant increase in the number of students enrolled, especially in Elementary Education, generating progressive challenges of an organizational nature. , political, pedagogical and cultural for educators. The present study aims to describe how Early Childhood Education units have been promoting the school inclusion of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder – ASD. The methodology used was a study of a basic nature, with a bibliographic nature and a qualitative approach, focusing on authors who address the topic in question. It is hoped that at the end of this study it will be possible to better understand the implementation of actions aimed at the inclusion process, as this will improve the learning results obtained by everyone involved, notably for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, especially because , new understandings of the meaning of what it means to teach and learn in inclusive education will allow knowledge about the true needs and potential of each person, which will facilitate the development of effective pedagogical proposals in the production of knowledge.
