Abstract

The present work aims to analyze how the influence of the mass media affects impartiality and justice in the Jury Court. Mass media plays a significant role in shaping public opinions and perceptions on various subjects, including legal cases. In the context of the Jury Court, where impartiality and the pursuit of justice are paramount, the influence of the media can present significant challenges. With regard to the methodological approach, the study adopts a qualitative research perspective. The method used is bibliographic study, which gives the research a descriptive character. The main result, derived from the analysis of jurisprudence related to one of the prominent cases in the Jury Court in Brazil, highlights the significant impact of the media in influencing jurors' decisions in this context.
