Abstract

The present article aims to demonstrate how the extrajudicial public notaries' offices can collaborate with the de-judicialization of the Judiciary, which was possible through the constitutional evolution and the advent of Law nº 11441/2007. Therefore, the main focus is to show how the notaries' offices bring benefits to the judiciary by promoting a decrease in the number of cases submitted to the Judiciary, in a faster, more effective and less costly way, showing the importance of access to justice, the historical perspective of notarial activity, provisions about the law, its benefits and the changes it brought to some procedures.
