EXPERT EVIDENCE: A VIEW FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE BRAZILIAN CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

Abstract

This article aims to address the singularities regarding the relevance of expert evidence to the criminal process through concepts, criminal procedural law, as well as to address its scientific accuracy. In this sense, this article also highlights the importance of Legal Medicine, since this area of knowledge participates in the development of expertise. The methodology used in the work was based on bibliographical research with comparison and detailed analyzes of the law, jurisprudence, summary, articles of internet, legal review, as well as the deduction of the facts narrated.
