Rheumatic diseases are conditions that affect the musculoskeletal system, with a significant impact on the patient's life, compromising their physical and motor abilities, and where dietary patterns can interfere with the pathophysiological course. This article aimed to describe, through a narrative literature review, the nutritional interventions in the remission of patients with chronic rheumatologic diseases. For the analysis, publications were searched in the databases: SciELO, Lilacs, National, Pubmed, and Google Scholar, selecting those related to the keywords: chronic pain, rheumatology, diet therapy, and nutrition, in various combinations to broaden the scope of the search, published freely and in full. The result of the discussions on the various articles demonstrated the effectiveness of anti-inflammatory diets in improving the quality of life of patients affected by rheumatologic diseases, due to the remission of symptoms presented by these patients. The inclusion of the consumption of turmeric, omega-3, banana, and resveratrol (500mg/day), combined with the control of vitamin D and E levels in the evaluated patients, was considered an important factor in reducing the symptoms presented.
