Abstract

This article sought to discuss the importance of the actions of the Human Resources sector within a company in the field of interstate road transport with the headquarters located in the city of Palmas - Tocantins. Through a questionnaire applied to 25 drivers on the Google platform - Google Forms and with the in-depth interview of the Human Resources Manager. This research aims at a specific look at the drivers with regard to the quality of work, relationship and conduct of them towards the management / passengers, with this, it was analyzed consistently, truthfully and evidenced by the employees themselves, who pointed out the positive and negative points throughout the study. With this was patented the effort of RH, but the lack of a specific act in relation to the professionals who are behind the wheel contributes to a practice that has become commonplace, of both parties, and that has not yet been remedied. However, it is worth mentioning that the strategic importance of RH is something indisputable, however, the applications of internal standards must be rethought for the smooth running of the company in order to extinguish problematic roots.
