Abstract

The purpose of this article was to verify the importance of religious education in schools. To carry out this analysis, firstly, the apparent conflict between the secular state and religious education was analyzed. Having overcome this study, we sought to show the best way to teach such classes, focusing on teaching them in different religions, avoiding any kind of indoctrination. Finally, the effective importance of religious education in schools was analyzed, visualizing its benefits to students. The objective of the present work was to verify if, in fact, the discipline of religious education is important in the education of students, as well as the guidelines that the teacher must follow when teaching classes. The methodological procedure used was the bibliographic.
