The text analyzes the manifestations of the so-called street culture as a way of valorizing Afro-Brazilian culture, rescuing ancestry, form of protest, racial valorization and social justice through a report of the practice of the project denominated xxxxxx held in a school public school of Restinga district in Porto Alegre, which culminated in the presentation to the teachers of this school by the students of said class in the year 2016. The project applied in a class of 5th year used the interdisciplinarity, working with poetry recital, graphite and hip hop and valued the protagonism of the students, stimulating the ideas and the individual and collective organization. But, the work speaks, especially in the enchantment, in the dream lived in the classroom, in the reflection and the discovery, in the possibilities of these young people. The reflections and historical searches permeated the process, bringing research in a forceful way to the classroom. His findings and creations were recorded in a video of the presentation, whose link will be made available at the end of the work.
