Abstract

Road transport is the one that is carried out on roads, such as streets, roads and highways, whether or not they are paved. This modal has the function of moving goods, people and animals to many locations. The general objective of the study is to carry out a study on the quality of transport and good practices in internal and external customer service. In order to provide the most accurate information possible, the study employed an investigative approach that examined the subject's history with close scrutiny. With the present study, it was possible to understand that the Brazilian cargo transport has the road modal as its main matrix, this is due to a series of historical factors that led to most of the investments in the logistical development of this unique modal.
