CERVICAL CANCER PREVENTION STRATEGIES IN THE CONTEXT OF NURSING

Cervical Cancer is an intrauterine invasive wound caused mainly by HPV, being a disease that progresses slowly. The objective of this study was to identify the strategies used by nurses for the prevention of cervical cancer. For the development of this study, an integrative literature review was used. The databases used to search for articles were the Virtual Health Library and Google Scholar. 10 articles were identified that met the inclusion criteria of the respective work. The review revealed that nurses use preventive exams and health education as prevention strategies for cervical cancer.
