Abstract

The relation between online journalism and the memory is the factor that pass throught this article. The geral goal is understand the way that online journalism contributes to the formation of the individual and collective memory of Criciúma City. Concepts like memory, online journalism and hyperlocal journalism are parto f the theoretical discussion proposal. It was evalueted the special reporting “Travel through the streets of Criciúma”, published on the Journalism course’s page of College Satc in june of 2017. The reporting bring a interactive map with ten streets from the city, talking about the history of each personality that gives name to the street. It was applied an online quiz checking if the hyperlocal journalism strengthens the memory. It was observed with the answers that there are this, the public likes the interactive content and had the willing to read more news wich were made that way.
